Sorry for the delayed reply. I scan the watercolour under high resolution and try to adjust the colour in photoshop for best on screen results. (Usually levels, or if colours are lost than toggle Saturation.)
Haha, I suppose I have to apologize for the late response as well (I've been off of DA for quite a while). Thanks so much for the response, it really does help. Though i doubt that I could ever be as good as you to begin with. My art definitely pales by comparison.
The paper gives this picture such a beautiful texture to it. The colors you used are beautiful and fit very nicely togethor. I like the small dark red fish you added and the cresent moon shaped scales of the water dragon. I also love how simple in design and posture the boy is.
it's very nicely done :> it caught my eye the first thing i looked in my messages box. probably what i like about this the most is the contrast between the top and the bottom- how it looks so full, and so dense, and then it gradually diminishes at the bottom. has to be one of my favourites from you so far.
